Straight Section
The basic unit of every stage barrier line: upright, floor plate and braces. Spectators stand on the floor plate, so their weight holds the line in place.

Modules
Mojo Barriers BV develops event barriers for live entertainment, sporting events, official events and corporate events, from the front of the stage to entrances, bars and perimeters. Six MOJO Holding Group companies rent out all 14 modules.
What they do
Mojo event barriers mark the line between audience and stage, open it where crew, queues or vehicles need to pass, and close off bars and restricted areas. All modules come from one range and join into one barrier line. For the layout of a venue, plan a barrier layout first or specify a Mojo barrier system.
Straights & corners
The basic unit of every stage barrier line: upright, floor plate and braces. Spectators stand on the floor plate, so their weight holds the line in place.

Hinged corners for variable angles in the barrier line. The Vario Corner sets from −49° to +60°, the Flex Corner from −90° to +90° to fit around camera platforms or mix positions.

A fixed 45° turn for sharper changes of direction in front of the stage. The positive corner is marked green, the negative corner blue.

A fixed 22.5° turn with full floor plate, braces and rear step, so the line can follow the shape of the stage. The positive corner is marked pink, the negative corner white.

Bar barriers & special systems

Bar fronts in recycled LMDPE, 1.18 m high, for bars and stands at festivals and outdoor events. Staff serve from behind the line while visitors order in front, and the Vario Corner turns the bar from −60° to +90°.

A reinforced aluminium barrier with a polycarbonate upper panel, 2.40 m high, used as temporary fencing for restricted areas and accreditation zones.

Sightline panels that block visibility into restricted areas, a security walkway and the 5.5° wedge for gentle curves in the line.

Barrier Load Monitor System (BLMS): two pressure sensors per sensor barrier show the crowd pressure on the line in real time, so security teams see where it builds up.
Generations
A new Mojo Barrier® generation has followed about every ten years, each with its own material or focus.

The first Mojo Barrier came from Mojo Concerts and was made of steel. Steel stayed the material for ten years.

In 1998 the barrier moved from steel to aluminium and became around 40 % lighter, which makes transport and handling easier. With the Vario and Flex Corners, the line can follow almost any stage shape. Sections join with one bolt and two location pins. All G1 parts are still available to rent.

The second generation dates from 2012 and was developed with crowd management in mind. Its slim design takes up less space than the G1, which makes transport efficient and suits the touring industry. The sloped front edge of the floor plate is designed to reduce the risk of tripping.

The third generation was developed with sustainability in focus: Straight Section in 1.00 m and 0.50 m, Vario Corner, Flex Corner and Cable Gate, all black on a silver floor plate. Straight Sections join with two location pins and one bolt, plus an optional second bolt at the top for inner corners under extremely high pressure.
Independent tests
Every test reached at least 5 kN/m. Each of the 16 documents applies only to the barrier versions it names; data sheets per module are on the downloads page.

A stage barrier holds the line; a gate opens it where pedestrians, crew or vehicles need to pass. For example:
At public gatherings of every size, from festivals to city celebrations. Some examples from 2018 to 2026:
In the UK, Mojo barriers have stood at Glastonbury and the BRIT Awards.
