Certification
Our crowd barrier certification rests on 16 documents from four independent testing bodies, TNO, Lloyd's British Testing, TÜV Nederland and TÜV NORD Nederland, dated 1996 to 2025.
Independent testing
Mojo Barriers BV develops its barrier systems and has had them independently tested since 1996. Certification is carried out by independent bodies such as TÜV NORD.
A test result applies only to the specimen that was tested. The 2025 TÜV NORD certificate states this in its own words: “only for the tested test specimens”. If you are new to the system, start with what a Mojo Barrier® is or browse the barrier range.

Eight corner, gate and wedge modules were each tested on their own as a sample at the Lloyd's British works in London.

Three steel barriers made in 1990 and 1992 were loaded as single units in the TNO laboratory in April 1993 to find out how they fail: by bending, overturning or sliding.

Each sheet below is an image of the original document, large enough to read. The TÜV NORD certificate lists MOJO Rental in Germany under “Marketed by, under the brand name”. MOJO Rental is a rental company of the MOJO Holding Group, the group to which Mojo Barriers BV also belongs.

Yes. In report 96-CON-R0748, TNO measured the sliding resistance of a single steel barrier unit on three surfaces:

Besides the module, the required and tested load and the result (“no permanent set recorded on unit”, pass), each sheet gives:
BS EN 13200-3:2005 is the standard Lloyd's British Testing used in 2011 for eight Mojo Barrier modules, each against a required 5 kN/m. Its full title is “Spectator facilities – Part 3: Separating elements – Requirements”. The 2005 edition has since been replaced, so the sheets describe what was tested in 2011 and nothing about later editions.
