A 45 degree corner barrier for sharper turns

3D view: barrier line with a Fixed Corner 45°
01 / 04 · Angle

The angle split over both ends

Each end of the corner is angled by 22.5°, so the 45° are shared between both joints and the Straight Sections on either side meet it at the same angle. In the line, both versions take up the 1.00 m grid, as part of the Mojo stage barrier range.

02 / 04 · Versions

Positive or negative, green or blue

On a positive corner the line turns away from the crowd, usually towards the stage; its mark is green. On a negative corner it turns towards the crowd, usually away from the stage, and the mark is blue. Both colours sit on the braces, so the crew can easily tell the corners apart on site.

03 / 04 · Construction

One brace or two, full floor plate

The positive corner has a single brace and no rear step. The negative corner has two braces that support the upright, with a perforated rear step between them. In front of the upright, both floor plates are closed: on the positive corner it ends in a ramp towards the crowd, on the negative corner in a point.

04 / 04 · Curves

Catwalks, thrusts and combined curves

Several corners can be combined in one line, also with the Fixed Corner 22.5°; together they create a wide, smooth curve. A 45° step is ideal at locations where the line has to change direction sharply, for example at the corners of catwalks, thrusts and other stage structures. The Straight Section barriers between the corners set how tight the turn is.

  • Two 45° corners turn the line by 90°
  • Four turn it by 180°

FAQ

Questions about the Fixed Corner 45°

Two contacts, depending on the question:

  • Corners for your layout and hire: the rental company in your country
  • Data sheets and test documents: Mojo Barriers BV

A 45 degree corner barrier is a barrier section with a fixed angle of 45°. In a Mojo Barrier line, the Fixed Corner 45° is a full module with its own floor plate, so the crowd stands on it just as on the Straight Sections on either side. One of the benefits of a fixed angle: the new direction is reached in a single module, with nothing to adjust on site.

  • whether each turn goes towards or away from the crowd
  • the space behind the line: the positive corner has no rear step, so security staff stand on the Straight Sections next to it
  • black or silver, to match the rest of the line
  • availability and stock of the barrier equipment at the rental company for your dates
  • the braces: one on the positive, two on the negative corner
  • the coupling pins of both versions
  • the bolts and nuts of the positive corner; on the negative corner, the bolts are steel and the nuts stainless steel

Yes. The Fixed Corners of the G1 and G2 come in silver and in black, always on a silver floor plate. Details can differ between production series, for example the rear step height on the negative corner. Which finish is available, and suitable for the rest of the line, depends on what the rental company has in stock.

The Fixed Corner 45° is hired out through the rental companies of the MOJO Holding Group, in silver or in black. The rental company in your country can confirm availability. For questions about the product, its data sheets and test documents, contact our team.
