Eight days in Denmark
Roskilde Festival 2016 ran from 25 June to 2 July in Denmark, with 175 acts on eight stages, including New Order, Mac DeMarco, Sleaford Mods and Foals.
Under the new contract, Mojo Barriers again supplied its barrier configuration for artist and audience safety across the eight-day event.
Four pens in front of the stage
The pen system splits the front-of-stage area into four pens, which are emptied between bands. Organisers control the number of people in front of the stage, and the audience is divided to prevent large crowd surges.
Mojo Barriers also supplied its Line-up Gates for Roskilde’s entry system. Organisers control the flow into all pens, and security staff can monitor it effectively.
A long-term relationship
There is a great health and safety culture at Roskilde and we’ve worked closely with organisers to develop a barrier configuration which provides optimum safety to festival goers.
