The 36th BRIT Awards at The O2
On 24 February 2016, Mojo Barriers supplied a variety of barriers and configurations to keep celebrity guests and music fans safe at The BRIT Awards 2016 in association with Mastercard.
It was the 36th edition of The BRIT Awards, one of the music industry's most prestigious events, held at London's O2 Arena. Mojo set up an effective crowd control barrier operation and completed the full barrier layout on the day of the show.
Stage barrier, fencing and a screened VIP area
- 300 metres of stage barrier
- 2,250 metres of Heras fencing and crowd control barrier
- 90 metres of sightline kill extensions, giving 2.4 metres of height to screen off a secure, private VIP area
Every barrier section was branded with The BRIT Awards and sponsor logos.
A rapid turnaround at a busy venue
The O2 is one of London's busiest venues, so a rapid turnaround was needed to ensure a safe and efficient egress whilst the ceremony was conducted. The BRIT Awards is enjoyed by millions of viewers all over the world, which required us to provide barriers that not only do their job but that also look great, something we at Mojo Barriers pride ourselves upon. …
Mojo used equipment from its extensive inventory to suit the venue and the event, with the safety of fans and guests as the highest priority.
