Concerts on the steps
High Fence was supplied for several outdoor concerts at the Sydney Opera House, including Crowded House and Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals, as part of Live Nation’s ‘On The Steps’ concert series.
Opera Australia also chose High Fence to secure the perimeter of the forecourt for its outdoor production ‘Handa presents Sydney Opera House – The Opera (The Eighth Wonder)’, which ran for five shows.
Clear or tinted panels
First designed for the 2014 G20 Summit in Brisbane, High Fence is a 2.4 m high security barrier with a polycarbonate upper. It works with additional components such as gates and corners.
Transparent polycarbonate upper panels formed the perimeter without hiding the Opera House backdrop. Where a sight kill was needed during the shows on the forecourt, tinted panels blocked the view of the stage and stopped crowds building up outside the perimeter.
With adaptable polycarbonate uppers, High Fence has given organisers the option of blocking off views of certain areas, such as the back of house, whilst also ensuring attendees are able to enjoy the beautiful harbour views.
Room for emergency vehicles
Mojo also supplied exit gates that gave access for large emergency vehicles and served as emergency exit points for large crowds.
