42 European dates in 26 arenas
The Red Hot Chili Peppers began the European leg of their Getaway World Tour in September 2016, and Mojo Barriers was asked to supply touring barriers for all 42 European dates.
Promoting their latest album, the band played some of the biggest arenas in Europe, from Madrid and Barcelona to Vienna, Berlin and Stockholm. For each of the 42 shows, in 26 venues, Mojo supplied an arena-sized stage barrier kit. The shows featured the largest automated kinetic light show in concert touring history.
From Budapest to Dublin
The Californian band opened the European tour at the László Papp Budapest Sports Arena and took the show to venues including Amsterdam's Ziggo Dome, Frankfurt's Festhalle and Birmingham's Genting Arena.
The European leg ended at the 3Arena in Dublin on Wednesday 21 December 2016. The band then planned to continue the world tour with concerts in the USA, starting in San Antonio on 5 January.
