A stage in the middle of the pitch

Mojo Barriers was contracted in late 2008 to supply the touring crowd barrier system. The stage footprint spanned the width of the stadium pitches, so both the central stage and the concentric B-stage were closely surrounded by the audience.

Safety was at the top of every party’s list. The configuration used all elements of the Mojo Barrier® system plus a number of custom pieces.

Following the contours of the stage

We have created a barrier system that follows the contours of this incredible stage and set. It has been designed so that the band can get close to the audience; there are a lot of angles and precise set lines to stay close to …

The design included well over 100 special barrier pieces.

Chairs, claws and rods

Bespoke pieces included 70 barrier sections with red upholstered chairs for the VIP hospitality areas. The four ‘claws’ of the stage were connected by rods on the ground, so Mojo supplied 20 special barrier pieces to cross them.

One of the tour’s full-time carpenters came from Mojo Barriers and managed the precise set-up of the barrier at every stadium.
