Three main concerts and one satellite event

In July 2007 Mojo Barriers provided crowd protection barriers at three of the seven main Live Earth concerts. The company also supported the well-attended satellite event Live Earth Alert! in Amsterdam.

Across New York, London, Sydney and Amsterdam, the events used over 1,200 metres of Mojo's aluminium or steel barrier systems. Their job was to keep the many hundreds of thousands of fans and environmentalists at the concerts out of harm's way.

A project manager at every venue

Each of the four events had its own Mojo project manager:

  • Wembley Stadium, London, UK: Jim Gaffney
  • Giants Stadium, New York, USA: J.B. Dolphin
  • Aussie Stadium, Sydney, Australia: Greg Walker of The Purple Station, Mojo's Australian distributor
  • Westerpark, Amsterdam, the Netherlands (Live Earth Alert! satellite event): Erwin Sprengers

Supporting an environmental project

Managing director Patrick Jordan linked the job to the company's own approach.

As a company we are making our own efforts to operate sustainably and we were delighted to be able to support an environmental project like Live Earth.
